PFY is a service and an advocate for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer/questioning (LGBTQ) young people through age 45. Our mission is to enhance the health, wellness and cultural competency of LGBTQ young people through education, support services and youth development. We serve New York State’s Nassau, Suffolk and Queens counties. Due to COVID-19, we have shifted all our services virtually. As always, all services remain free and confidential to those who are in need.

Providing groceries, fresh produce and warm vegan meals to low-income communities. All the food we distribute is completely vegetarian and mostly organic. We collect clothing, books, toiletries, and toys for redistribution as well. We organize guerrilla gardening programs that range from blanketing neighborhoods with sunflowers to providing families with peach trees.
